For those whose friends are mostly coupled up, internet dating is the best way to find The One. And what could be more important that finding the right person to spend the rest of your life with?
However, INTERNET DATING IS DIFFICULT AND MOST PEOPLE DO IT BADLY. They create rubbish, unoriginal profiles, attract the wrong people, go on a few disastrous dates, then give up.
Internet dating will work though. You’ve just got to get it right.
One of the chief difficulties - as you'll know if you've tried it - is writing a good, original, profile. You might put effort in and think you’ve got it, but then you browse a few other profiles and realise that every single other person on the site has also said they're: “just as happy going out with their friends as staying in with a bottle of wine and a DVD”...
This is where I come in. I've produced the Telegraph's weekly dating website advice newsletter since May 2008, written several newspaper articles on internet dating, and I compiled Match.com's massive 2009 report on finding love online. I also met my current girlfriend online.
So I can advise on narrative, headings and picture to produce an attractive, original profile, which will greatly increase your chances of finding love online.
Because I've internet dated myself, unlike most people who write internet dating advice, I have respect for my fellow daters and don’t churn out the usual patronising crap that passes for advice on dating websites: "don't drink on a first date!" etc.
I know how it works, and have respect for my fellow daters, so can really help you pull the guy of girl of your dreams.
I’ll look at your profile, then call you and talk through how to make much more of it. Fee is £50, which really isn’t very much for something that’s going to improve the rest of your .
